Pocket Diapers consist of a waterproof outer shell, often made of laminated polyester (PUL) or laminated cotton, with a fleece, suede cloth, or velour inner. The outer keeps the diaper waterproof. The inner provides softness and often stay dry material next to baby's skin. This unique cloth diaper has an opening either in the front of the back of the diaper (or both) that allows for an absorbent insert to slide in between the outer and inner layers. Once the insert is in place, the diaper is ready to use. Without the insert, the diaper is not absorbent. The benefits of Pockets Diapers is that the insert comes out so washing and drying is easier and more efficient. The inserts vary in material from microfiber, cotton, and hemp/bamboo.
